The Quinta da Bacalhoa is an old property of the Portuguese Royal House. It is considered the most beautiful of the fifths of the first half of the 16th century, which are still preserved in Portugal. The headquarters is located in Quinta da Bassaqueira, in Azitão, Setúbal, which opens its doors and invites you to discover different collections divided into three thematic groups. The visit combines wine, nature and art. The architecture of the Palace, its decoration and gardens have been influenced over the centuries by the different owners, inspired by their travel through Europe, Africa and the East, or simply by being the Mecenas surrounded by artists, helping to transform it into a unique jewel. In time, the Fifth was embellished with walls of Portuguese tiles of the 19th century. XV and XVI evoking Arab designs and with a lake house overlooking the Fifth.
