Church of Santiago
The Church of Santiago de Gáldar, one of the most beautiful temples in the Canary Islands, is the bridge between the Baroque style and the first Neoclasicism of the Archipelago. From the missing church of the 16th century, interesting works of art such as the Green Pila are preserved in the present temple, where the first canaries conquered were baptized. Inside, and in the attached museum, several pieces of considerable value can be seen in painting, sculpture and goldsmiths.
