Mountain Cabas

The native species of goat was extinct between the late 19th and early 20th century but at the end of the 20th century a repopulation was made with goats brought from other saws. Currently, the population has grown a lot, partly due to the absence of natural enemies, such as the wolf, etc. In other times, the population of wolves in La Pedriza was abundant but from the Civil War the trace of the presence of the wolf is completely lost.
