Amphitheatre

The amphitheater of the year 70 BC was the first built in stone and is the oldest to be preserved in Roman civilization, before that of the Coliseum. In this huge compound, the famous fights between gladiators and animal struggles brought from Africa were held, in front of 20000 spectators.
