Mirador del Rei Martí

The one known as King Martí's tower has been closed to the public for years. However, you can still access his care and spectacular interior and discover some of his secrets, such as the existence in 1555, the year in which this symbol of the Gòtic district of Barcelona was erected, of a citizen named Joan Falgàs, who would have participated in the construction and left his signature for posterity on one of the walls that close the staircase. The tower is part of the Palau Reial Major, in the Rei Square, along with the Tinell Hall, the Santa Águeda Chapel, the current Marés Museum and the present seat of the Arxiu de la Corona d'Aragó, in the so-called Palau del Lloctinent, which it belongs to and which it is accessed after the relevant authorization.
