Hotel Puntagrande

The Punta Grande Hotel on El Hierro Island is listed in the Guinness World Records book as the smallest hotel in the world. With only 600m2 built and a height of 9m., this hotel has a very small capacity for guests: four double rooms. This small hotel enjoys great fame for this fact, but the fact is that its attractions do not end there. The hotel is surrounded by an impressive rocky landscape and with the sea splashing in front of its windows. The building where the hotel is located was formerly a customs post that did not survive the passage of time. For the current decoration many objects were rescued from the office as well as from the remains of shipwrecks, which gives it a very marine air.
