Zaanse Schans

Zaanse Schans is an outdoor museum located in the town of Zaanstad, just 20 Km from Amsterdam. The set of mills of Zaanse Schans recreates life in the Netherlands of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. This space is based on reality, as it was in its day the first industrial region in the world thanks to the 600 mills there were.
