Via Piella window

Passing under Porta Govese or Torresotto dei Piella you can reach the famous Window on the bridge and the Canale delle Moline, both with views. This corner of the city is known as "little Venice." Looking among the buildings, you can see one of the few sections of water that was not covered with asphalt between the early 20th and post-war. The Moline channel is the continuation of the Reno channel and for much of its journey is locked between the houses, as can be seen from the window, which is why in the past it remained hidden from sight for a long time. Recently, the views of the bridges of Via Oberdan and Via Malcontenti have been reopened, flanked by the evocative window of Via Piella.
