The exhibition Quake 2008

Small and beautiful exhibition about the 2008 earthquake. Its main feature is a crack in the ground that is covered with a transparent glass. This gives a memorable view of what it must have felt during that earthquake. There is a simulator to feel what was the 6.4 tremor of 2008, which is incredibly realistic. The exhibition is free and presents very interesting videos and images about the impacts of the earthquake, in addition to the division between the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia, making it a mandatory destination for those wanting to learn more about local geology.
