Stary Kleparz

The "Stary Kleparz" market is considered the oldest market in the Polish city of Krakow. It was founded in the middle of the 14th century and was originally the center of a small town to which the inhabitants of Krakow came to do the shopping. With the passage of time and the expansion of the city, the market was incorporated and became part of the capital of the Voivodship of Small Poland. Today, the site is still visited by tourists and locals looking for fresh products produced locally. There is a very large flower area and several bread shops, cheese and traditional Polish sausages. To get there, just walk about 15 minutes from the Central Square (or the "Stare Miasto") in Krakow. The tram can also be reached using the tram to the station "Novy Kleparz." In addition to the traditional atmosphere of the place, it is important to note that several premises have been occupied by more modern cafes and small restaurants. The municipal government also installed a modem for visitors' access to a free Wi-Fi service. .
