Saint George Beach

Near the village of Shantu Gheorghe (Saint George) there is a beach with the same name in which there was practically no one when we arrived (in the high season we have seen photos with more people, obviously, although not overstated) and where you can see how one of the branches of the Danube (also called Shantu Gheorghe) meets the Black Sea. It is about 30 kilometers long, it is very natural as the whole area is protected, and the water is quite shallow and very sweet, as this is the point of union of the Danube with the Black Sea.
