Mocha Bridge

On the Cofio River, we meet the Mocha Bridge. The bridge is not safely dated and its origin is not known. It has often been called a Roman bridge, although it is believed to be a medieval work, surely to facilitate the repopulation of the area after the Reconquist. Another hypothesis indicates that it was built in the 16th century for the transport of the wood and granite that was used in the work of the monastery of the Scorial.
