Praça da República

The Praça da República de Braga is a pleasant place, full of cafes and restaurants, which is usually a starting point or a very common goal when it comes to the city. This square has a very nice and relaxed atmosphere especially during the night, as it enjoys a color lighting and is filled with people of all ages who gather in it to enjoy a moment of fresh air. Behind the cafes area is the Managem Tower, with a square structure, almenada and fenced by a tapia. They are the only remains left of an old fortified medieval palace.
