Covas beach

One of the best beaches to see in Viveiro. This half-moon and golden sand beach is perfect for a family day when you have all the services and be protected from the strong waves of the Cantabrian. One of its main features and which you can most easily appreciate when the tide is low, are rock formations known as "Os Castelos" and the monument in homage to the shipwreck of the frigate Santa María Magdalena, in 1810.
