Playa de Bologna
The beach of Bologna, almost 4 km in length, is located in the El Aleguho Natural Park. This idyllic beach, almost immaculate and wild, is a true paradise for windsurfing lovers, thanks to the constantly blowing wind, and for nudists, who can spend the day in the protected area of the Chorrito. Despite being an unurbanized beach, you will have the opportunity to enjoy excellent quality meat and fish in the restaurants of the area. The most famous' monument 'on the beach is the Duna de Bologna, a sand dune almost 30 meters high, declared a National Monument in 2001. Located in the west of the beach, it offers visitors the opportunity to do a little sport, which will be rewarded by the magnificent views you can enjoy from the top. In addition, on very sunny days, it is possible to see the African coast. And if you are not yet satisfied, you can return to the past by visiting the ruins of Baelo Claudia, a perfectly preserved Roman people, discovered in the 1970s. The blue, clean and cold waters, as well as the majestic dunes, have made the Bologna Beach the most famous in all of southern Spain. The second reason for this was the list of Beaches of Travellers' Choice of TripAdvisor (the winner was the beach of Les Illets de Formentera, of the Balearic Islands). Finally, you can enjoy a spa treatment, thanks to the peculiar green mud, typical of this area. The perfect destination for your well-deserved vacation!
