Outdoor Museum Skansen

In Skansen you can learn about traditional crafts and customs. Here you can visit a historic Sweden in miniature. 150 rustic farms and houses from different parts of the country that have been dismantled and transported here. You will find charming city neighborhoods with glass blowing, pottery, tapestries and bakery, a yellow signage house, Skogaholm's solarium house, the beautiful 18th-century Seglora wood church and Bollnästorget market square. Here you can also see all the Nordic animals such as the moose, the bear, the lince, the wolf, the glutton and the seal. And whoever wants to enjoy a traditional Swedish smörgåsbord can do it in Solliden. Skansen has various restaurants and charming cafes. Bus 44 and tram number 7 stop at the main entrance. The most pleasant way to get to Skansen is by taking the ferry in Slussen.
