Mount Ortobene

Mount Ortobene (Orthobene in the local dialect) is a mountain located in the province of Nuoro, in the centre of Sardinia, Italy, near the city of Nuoro. There are two main parks: "Sedda Ortai" and "Il Redentore." At the foot of the mountain there is an archaeological area of nuragas, including the Domus de janas tombs. On the top of the mountain is a bronze statue of the Redeemer Christ, the work of Vincenzo Jerace.
