Monte Baldo

The Monte Baldo Osteria was born as a dairy shop in the late 19th century. The name "Monte Baldo" comes from the post office station for Spiazzi, a small village on the slopes of Monte Baldo. After the two great world wars, in 1948, the dairy became Osteria, now located on the ground floor, reserving the top floor to play cards or dice. With the transformation of the company in the 1960s, Monte Baldo becomes a bar and coffee, assuming the name "Caffè Monte Baldo." It is Gianni Vesentini, the historic Verona stero, who returned the traditional Veronese tavern formula to the restaurant. The Osteria Caffè Monte Baldo, known for its beautiful tartine and gourmet cakes, always offers a simple and traditional cuisine. Wide selection of wines.
