The restaurant is located in the center, but not in a busy street. It's very nice on the outside and inside. The food is good and abundant. Admit Yums. Discount at The Fork.

Carlos V Castle

Carlos V Castle
4.4

Of particular beauty is the Castle of Carlos V, which rests directly on the sea. It was built in the 16th century during Spanish domination. The castle's functions have changed throughout history, from a defence structure to a prison, through a residence. Today, after being renovated and restored, the Castle of Carlos V hosts numerous cultural events. This is a very recommended visit to make in Monopoly.

Monopoly Cathedral

Monopoly Cathedral

The Basilica of Mary Most Holy of Madia, Cathedral of Monopoly, is dedicated to the patron of the city. It is one of the most beautiful religious places in Puglia and in all of southern Italy. Next to it is the Plaza Vittorio Emanuele, one of the largest squares in Italy. The Cathedral of Monopoly has been designed in Romanesque style, as well as the fabulous cathedral that you can see in Trani. It was founded early in the 12th century, being today the main religious building to visit in monopoly.

This is the last beach before you reach Capitolo. It is one of the most hidden and secret to see in Monopoly, surrounded by rocky walls and vegetation. The seabed is rocky, while the sand is very fine.

Cala Paradiso

Cala Paradiso

Eta beautiful beach can be seen south of Monopoly and is a pretty large sand cove. It consists of very few sections of the free beach, while the rest is managed by private establishments. It is surrounded by rocks with an emerald green sea where you can see the seabed.

Cala Copacabana

This beach is ideal for families with small children, as its waters are shallow. This beach of Monopoli is ideal for days of wind, as it is quite protected.

Playa de Porto Ghiacciolo

Playa de Porto Ghiacciolo
4.3

This is one of the best-valued beaches for users. It is located near Capitolo, and like this, it is very well connected to the center of Monopoly. It is one of the best beaches near Bari you can visit, especially thanks to its crystal clear sea, where different currents converge that make the water always cold and very clean. In the rocky part above, there is the Abbey of St. Stephen, which contributes (and much) to the beauty of this place. Finally, in Porto Ghiacciolo you can enjoy all the typical services of a spa.

Porto Rosso

Bar, restaurant and pizzeria, with sea and city views, with good prices.

The historical centre and many of its buildings can be dated from the altomedieval period (that is, from the fall of Rome to the year 1000) and even retains traces of its wall that have been dated in the 5th century BC, for it was the same Greeks who founded the settlement. There have been many who have had the power over this beautiful city over the centuries: ostogods, Byzantines, Normans, French of the house of Anjou, Aragonese, Venetian and Spanish, who granted Monopoli the status of "free city," all of them took place providing valuable heritage details to the city.
