Mini-Europe
Mini-Europe is a park located in Bruparzk, at the foot of the Atomium, in Brussels, which houses reproductions of some of the best-known monuments of the European Union at 1 / 25 scale. The exhibition consists of about 350 buildings representing 80 cities. The park stands out for the quality of the models, some of which cost up to 350,000 euros (e.g. the Grand Place of Brussels). It also contains numerous animated scenes and mobile elements (train, mills, Vesuvius eruption, Airbus, electroguided trucks). A guide describes in detail all the monuments. At the end of the tour, the exhibition, "The Spirit of Europe," presents the European Union through interactive activities and games. The park occupies an area of 24,000 m2 and was built with an initial investment of 10 million euros. It was opened in 1989 by Prince Philip of Belgium.
