Käsmu
The first written records of a village in Käsmu date back to 1453. It was home to a maritime school and practically all families had their captain or formed timonel there. That's why Käsmu was known as the "town of the captains." Today it is a popular place to spend summer holidays and celebrate events. Here you can rest and relax walking on the beach, exploring the natural beauty of the area on its hiking routes, enjoying the events that are held here and visiting the Käsmu Maritime Museum. .
