La Mortella Garden

This gigantic and beautiful private garden, located in the hills of Forio in the north-west end of Ischia, is decorated with a mixture of tropical and Mediterranean plants. For about EUR 12, you can walk the lush roads that extend along two hectares of valleys and hills, with beautiful water structures spread throughout the park. Head to the gardens on the top to enjoy a splendid view of the bay. In addition, here you will also find a museum dedicated to the classical composer Sir William Walton (whose wife created the gardens) and a Greek theatre in which classical and tribute concerts are held, as well as other events in summer.
