Statue of Freedom

The Statue of Freedom was inaugurated in October 1886 and was a gift from the French to commemorate the 100 years of the United States Declaration of Independence. In 1984 it was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, and since then its fame and history have continued to spread. As a curiosity, it should be noted that Gustave Eiffel, the creator of the Eiffel Tower, participated in its design. .
