Wawel Castle

Wawel Castle

The castle of Wawel, built in the 14th century in Renaissance style, has in its interior several jewels such as the treasure of the crown, the armory, the royal apartments and the state rooms. To leave the castle we recommend you to cross the cave of the Wawel dragon, some tunnels 270 meters long that end up in front of a great statue that fires through the mouth every little while.

Up to the Wawel Hill, located on one of the extremes of the historic center, to visit the castle and the cathedral is one of the best things to do in Krakow.
