Castle of Fries

Ubiquitous monument within the medieval complex is the Castle of the Duques de Frías, also called the Castle of the Velasco. And it is that we are facing an impressive fortress incarnated to the highest rocky of the hill, almost as in an impossible balance. Its origin is in the 10th century but it was of great historical importance in the coming centuries.
