Edinburgh Castle

The castle of Edinburgh is an old fortress built on a rock of volcanic origin located in the centre of the city of Edinburgh. It has been used for military purposes since the 12th century and is intended for civilian uses only until very recent times. This is the most visited tourist attraction in Scotland.
