Casa Picanterra

Casa Picanterra is a traditional Valencian cabbage with a large terrace overlooking a beautiful freshwater lagoon, known as l'Estany de Culera, where fishermen were formerly to fish. This restaurant opened its doors in 1936 and since then has not stopped receiving diners interested in enjoying their delicious food in an atmosphere as enviable and relaxed as it is to be eating by the pond. Although the dry rice (of valentian paella, of demenuted duck, of rape and locusts, etc.) and melossus (of blue bog, of chicken with rabbit and mushrooms or of octopus, clams and peeled shrimp...) are their specialty, other of the tasty dishes that you can find in your letter are the following: cod buñuelos with ajooil, valentian tomato salad, or the octopo grillé with parmentiere. They also have several options and meat and fish for those who are not very arrogant. The restaurant opens every day except on Tuesday, which close for rest. However, given its popularity among the public, we recommend that if you do not want to run out of table, you book some advance. Especially if you want to eat or dinner on your terrace.
