The Largo do Carmo, one of the most beautiful and historic squares in Lisbon, has been an interesting place to cover for a year. O Carmo is known for its sophisticated tapas and its elegant decoration but without losing the informality. The concept of this restaurant is to offer its customers a moment of fun and to share what comes to the table. The dishes are abundant and stand out the peixinhos da horta (green Jew bounced with tempura sauce), the shrimp to the garlic and the pica-pau (beef cut into small pieces in whose sauce the acid taste of the pickles cannot be missed). Chef Hugo Landeiro gives a very special touch to every cover that has become very famous in the area. Cheese, chorizo, chorizo with apple... all very Portuguese proposals.
