Brienne Canal

If we had to go for a place to feel the fullness of nature, we would certainly choose this beautiful gift from Toulouse. The Brienne Canal was created in 1776 to connect the Midi channel with the Garona River itself, and has since become a suggestive natural ramification of the city, owner of unbeatable horizons. The lush of its trees invites you to visit this place between the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, during the mute forced by the change of season, for it is at this time of year that the ochre and yellowish tones are shown in all their splendor to delight you with unsurpassed views. You'll end up falling in love. Its small size, only 1.6 kilometres, has been key to many Tolosans coming here to walk, to walk or to ride a bike; also, of course, to just sit on the grass to contemplate the incredible landscape.
