Cabo Espichel
The Cape is the southernmost point of the mouth of the Tajo River. Many tourists are attracted there due to the impressive views that are seen from their cliffs to the Atlantic Ocean. In the place there is a lighthouse, built in 1790, and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Cape Espichel, one of the greatest devotions of the Virgin in the surroundings of Lisbon, which is over 700 years old. If the heat / cold / wind is excessive, there is a coffee that is quite good (I Love Spichel) to bite something or enjoy Portuguese home food; it is located near the church of Nossa Senhora.
