Barrio dos Muíños

Outside the historic centre, less than 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral, is the popular Barrio de Os Muiños, famous for its crafts workshops and its medieval O Pasatempo bridge, another of the most beautiful places to see in Mondoñedo. You can start the visit to the neighborhood by the Hermitage of San Roque and go down to the bank of the river Valiñadares that is bifurca forming several artificial channels, which formerly moved several mills.
