Barrio de Ribeira

The Ribeira district is one of the most important places to know the historic centre of Porto. As its name indicates, it is the area on the river bank. Its colorful and decorated facades attract the attention of all visitors, both those that give to the Duero and are reflected in it (best appreciated from Vila Nova de Gaia, on the opposite shore) and those that are part of the maze of streets that make up the Ribeira district. Perfect at night. If you are looking for a charming place to dine and walk at night, the Ribeira district is the right place. You will find dozens of restaurants with terraces where you can taste typical Portuguese dishes while enjoying the views of the Luis I Bridge and Vila Nova da Gaia with its lighted wineries.
