Pier El Espinar
The opening of the El Espinar railway station, 120 years ago, discovered this area of the Guadalrama saw to travelers, summer and sportsmen, and made tourism one of its main supports, above the secular logging. The railway terminal, a two-storey, two-storey building, located about seven kilometres from El Espinar, houses in its interior a small museum linked to the history of the train and the neighborhood that originated from its activity. In its surroundings two sawmills were installed, in 1901 and 1918, one of which still retains a spiky brick fireplace as a vestige of industrial architecture.
