Bratislava Airport - Milan Rastislav Štefánik
Milan Rasslav Štefatik Airport () (also called Bratislava (Slovak: Letisko Milana Rasslava Štefatika) is the main international airport in Slovakia. He was named in tribute to General Milan Rasslav Štefatik, whose aircraft crashed in Bratislava in 1919. The airport is run by Airport Bratislava, A.S. (BTS), a public limited liability company. Until May 2004, the airport was administered by the State entity Slovenská Správa Letísk (Slovak Airports Administration). During the day, Bratislava is accessible with bus number 61, while at night you can go to the city with bus number N61. These buses circulate between the airport (Letisko) and the Bratislava train station (Hlavná stanica). On average, bus number 61 leaves every 15 minutes. One ticket costs €1.20 (3 zones) and is valid for 60 minutes including transshipments. The tickets are for sale at the terminal on the self-sale machines in which you must pay with cash. Don't forget that when you get up you have to validate your ticket. In Bratislava it is not possible to buy a ticket either with the bus driver or the tram driver.
