In the 1990s, this archaeological site was discovered and in 2005, the first works in the area were started on the occasion of the expansion of the cemetery. In view of the results obtained from the prospections made, the discovery of archaeological remains corresponding to a visigode necropolis and a series of late remains is announced, thus the origins of the population in the area would go back to an antiquity between six and seven centuries before what was thought. The discovery of the site makes possible the Archeoturistic Project Parque de La Cabilda with a view to its inclusion in the network of Visible Yacimientos of the Community of Madrid.
