Verbena

Its main virtue is to serve vermut Zecchini, the oldest house of this drink in Madrid. Monti tells us that this brand began to be distilled in Lavapiés in 1940, under the name A.S., which then changed to Zecchini to give it an Italian air, a country from which this drink originally came. Zecchini uses wines from the Community of Madrid for its manufacture (Zarro brings them from Castilla-La Mancha), so it can be said without doubt that it is 100% Madrid. In the Verbena it is served in a small glass, with ice and orange cut, with a flat olive but without a lid.
