Stazione Verona Porta Nuova
It is located in the XXV Aprile Square south of the city centre. The station is a 25-minute walk or a 10-minute bus from the Arena di Verona. The station was opened in 1852 by the Südbahn of the Austrian Empire and, after its transfer to Italy, has been substantially rebuilt between 1910 and 1922. After the destruction of the Allied bombings during World War II, the current building was rebuilt between 1946 and 1949.
