Restaurants in Spain
![]() The Postal4.6The Restaurant La Postal is named after you have a magnificent view of the city of Segovia, with a fantastic wood oven, a spacious and bright dining room with fireplace for 100 people, terrace and a car-restaurant. A restaurant of segovian cuisine, half way between the classicism starring chocinillo, lamb or judiones of La Granja and certain innovations without stridences that are perfectly married to the Castilian heritage. |
The Porta de Mediodía4.6The Portada del Mediodía occupies a building whose construction dates back to the 12th century. From the 18th century it became a stop, fonda and post house on the way to the Segovia market. The present shows the fully restored building with respect to the original structure and a regional cuisine restaurant with specialties such as the lamb or the roast cochinillo (on request), fried vegetables, chickpeas with chipirones, milkshakes with mushrooms and temperate salad of anchovy with caramelized peppers and crab tails. It has four independent dining rooms with a decoration that combines stone, wood and mud and a cozy garden for intimate evenings, cocktails and presentations. In short, a place that honors your slogan: The recovery of good taste. |
Taberna López4.5Its location in the San Lorenzo district, by the river, makes this tavern a compulsory stop place in Segovia. Its identity sign is a traditional and totally homemade cuisine with which it has earned a fair fame. Its customers, always faithful, feel privileged to enjoy products grown in the restaurant's own garden. They highlight their chuletons, the solomillo, the scrambled and the bull's tail. But also the Jews, the gamblers and, above all, the cochinillo. The owner, Perfect Lopez, has been dedicated to the hotel and everything he offers in his letter is, in honor of his name, culinarily 'perfect'. The bar is the ideal place to enjoy a good wine, a beer or, why not, a rich cocktail. |
The Cochifrito3.9After 35 years of working as a cochineal farmer in the family company, Julián Conde Santos decided to transfer his knowledge of this segovian dish to the entire public by mixing it with his passion for cooking. Located at the foot of Segovia's monumental aqueduct, in this restaurant they seek the highest quality in all its dishes. Thus, his little boy is recognized all over the world, although they have a wide letter. |
The cochinillo, the roast lamb, the beans or the Spanish soup are the most typical dishes.
