Pulkovo

It initially received the name of Shosséynaya airport, for its proximity to the train station with the same name. The construction began in January 1931, and was completed on 24 June 1932, with the arrival of the first plane at 17: 31 that same day, after a two and a half hour flight from Moscow carrying passengers and mail.
