Roman bridge
Although to find its origin we have to transport to the Roman Empire, the medieval bridge of Frías has been rebuilt several times and today offers us a purely medieval aspect. Its historical importance lies in the fact that its layout coincides with an ancient Roman road that united Cantabria with the Spanish Plateau. Hence the scale of the work and its obvious defensive character.
