Playa Nord

The Nord beach offers views of the Castle of Peñíscola and 5 km of extension. The Nord beach is the most well known and visited beach in Peñíscola. It has a length of 5 km and 44 meters of medium width, which alternates sand areas in most of the beach with bowling areas at its far ends. It is the beach closest to the city centre and from it, you can see the Castle of the Pope Luna itself. It is therefore one of the main tourist demands of this town that offers an extensive cultural, sports and festive range throughout the year. The Nord beach is by anthonomasia the main beach; however, it is not a massified beach, being a perfect space to enjoy a day in the sun and to have a dip.
