If we are more than just a little bit of eating than a sitting, we will do well to acquire at the tourist office (Artekalea, 8; gernika-lumo.net) the pintxo route bonus, which for 9.90 euros allows to take eight of them in 17 different bars. It is worth testing the salmon and octopus pintxos of Hiru Saku (Pablo Picasso, 7); the locusts of Auzokoa (Pablo Picasso, 5); the cod, chipirón and ham of Arrien (Eriabarrena, 2); and the cochocas and scrambled mushrooms of Etxarte (Barrenkale Barrena s / n). Obviously, drinks are paid for separately, because otherwise, this would be the core of the century.
