Piazza delle Erbe

The Piazza delle Erbe is the oldest square in the city of Verona, Italy, located in the area of the old Roman forum. In the Roman age it was the center of political and economic life; over time the Roman buildings have been replaced by medieval buildings. In 2012 it was considered the most recommended Italian square in the world according to a research carried out by the Fondazione Marilena Ferrari, which reviewed for one year the travel suggestions of a hundred of the world's major newspapers
