Caldeira Velha Natural Park

La Caldera Velha is a Natural and Regional Monument that is part of the Biosphere Reserve in Azores. Apart from its wealth and exotism in vegetation, the Caldera Velha is mainly visited by its thermal waters. In some boilers the bath is prohibited as the water is at the boiling point, but in the rest of the pools the water is warm and it is very nice to spend the afternoon here. To enjoy this luxury is not free, of course, as the entrance to the enclosure costs 8 €/ person with a maximum stay limited to 2 hours. This is done to avoid over-concentration of people in boilers. If we just want to visit the interpretation center, the entry will consist of 3 €.
