One World Trade Center

Initially, the building was called Freedom Tower, but later changed its name to consider it too emotional. The design and construction phase lasted a long time due to the high emotional and symbolic load of the place. A number of ideas and concepts were cut off before the current one. The One World Trade Center has 104 floors and a lookout called One World Observatory on the 100, 101 and 102 floors. From the ground to the glass balustrade the skyscraper is 417 meters, the height of the Twin Towers (Twin Towers). The architect David Childs was chosen in 2003 to design the highest building in the complex, the One World Trade Center. After the design was modified for security reasons, construction of the building began in 2006. In 2007, the foundation of the One World Trade Center began to be seen. In 2014 the construction was completed and in 2015 the observatory opened its doors to the public.
