Gernika Peace Museum

It was precisely a merry market Monday, on April 26, 1937, when hell was unleashed over the foral villa. The Peace Museum (musedelapaz.org) recalls in detail the bombing, its background and its consequences. But not alone. The visitor is also invited to reflect on the peace and the ways that lead to it. A good place to rumble what has been seen in the museum is Pedro de Elejalde Street, where there is a real-size ceramic reproduction of the Guernica de Picasso.
