Museum

The National Archaeological Museum of Paestum is organized in different sections to tell the history of Paestum beginning from the prehistoric and protohistoric age, to continue with the Poseidonia of the Greek period and until reaching the Roman Colony of Paestum. In addition to the archaeological evidence of the excavations of Paestum (in the Archaeological Park), within the museum it is possible to admire the archaic metopas of the Hera shrine located near the mouth of the Seal.
