Walls

The walls are accessed by an entrance located in the north of the city, next to the church of San Salvador. After paying an economic entrance, you can start to visit this great enclosure that has the friolera of sixteen towers and five fortresses throughout its length. The tour lasts about an hour and a half, and from the height of the walls it is possible to contemplate the most beautiful panorama of the city and also the Adriatic sea bellism. The walls were originally built in the 10th century as protection from pirate attacks, and then restored in the 17th century.
