Mirators
Mirador Puerto de los AcebuchesLocated at the foot of the road that links Jimena de la Frontera with Grazalema, we come across this glare between oak and algarrobos, in the middle of the saw. From this privileged place, we can see the flight of the majestic vultures that fly over the area, as at a short distance one of the largest colonies on the peninsula of this giant winged is located. In front of the lookout, excavated by the Pinar stream, there is an impressive canyon of the Green Throat, whose vertical walls (some more than 400 meters) serve to nestle the vultures and are covered with lush vegetation, whose color gives the name to this natural structure. From this place we can also observe the Sierra Margarita, whose summit exceeds 1000 meters, in addition to the Grisaceous summits of the Sierra de Zafalgar and even to the bottom of the Sierra de Líjar. |
Nail and New WaterIn the skirt of the Manga de Villaluenga, between oaks and cashew, we find this lookout, silent witness of centuries and centuries of history. From it you can see the remains of the Roman road that in its day joined Carteia (first Latin colony away from Rome) with Acinipo (Ronda la Vieja). The recreational area of Cintillo and Aguas nuevas, where the neighbors of Benaocaz celebrate their romaneries, is also now observed. The Sierras de la Silla, Albarracín or Ubrique cut the orange horizon in the winter evenings, while little by little the last rays of sun color the area with violet tones. It is fully recommended to enjoy this landscape, in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, in these sunsets, when sounds, colors and silhouettes take a great role. |
Mirador Puerto del BoyarIt is located in a mountain port at 1103 meters high, considered one of the most important of Cadiz. In addition, it has tables, drinking water sources and everything necessary to enjoy a real country day. |
Port of Las PalomasThis lookout offers breathtaking sightings of rapaces as impressive as the vultures and alimoches that inhabit and overfly the area. It is located on a pecuary track from where we can see the Natural Park of the Alcornocales. |
