Ila Pancha

This island houses the two headlights of Ribadeo. The old, square floor and currently rehabilitated as tourist accommodation, was built in the 19th century and later replaced by the current one at the end of the 20th century. The latter, more powerful, is mounted on a circular concrete tower decorated with black and white stripes. According to some tourist guides, it is considered as one of Galicia's most beautiful headlights and is also the first of them to enter this community from Asturias. It is part of the Miradores route.
